Applies to: It applies to the entire ANG, all Department of the Air Force (DAF) and Department of War (DoW) civilian employees whose area of responsibility is within the ANG, and those with a contractual obligation to abide by the terms of DAF issuances, except where noted otherwise.
Unit commanders must not change any policy or procedure set by this instruction. (paragraph 1)
ANG incentives are used primarily to increase and maintain strength in critical AFSCs. (paragraph 2)
ROMs/RRNCOs will aid members desiring to retrain utilizing the CCW. (paragraph 2)
The ROM/RRNCO will review all retraining applications for possible impact on incentive participation. (paragraph 2)
The ROM/RRNCO will publish and forward an annual retention operational plan as delegated by the RRSEL. (paragraph 6)
