It also addresses financial plans, manpower, training, travel, personnel, logistics, equipment, contract services, and recruiting, and requires an executable program before a unit enters conversion.
Applies to: It applies to ANG units that are programmed to start a conversion, or in conversion, except where otherwise noted.
An executable program must be established before a unit enters conversion.
Mission Conversions may include weapon systems/aircraft changes (including primary aircraft assigned increases/decreases), mission changes, unit activations, deactivations, and unit relocations.
Any organizational or mission change must be approved by the Air Force and/or National Guard Bureau (NGB) corporate process and staffed accordingly.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
Requests for waivers must be submitted to the OPR for consideration and approval.
