The USAFEC mission is to train, educate, exercise, and enable combat support and mobility Airmen to conduct global enroute and contingency response operations, air advising, joint base management, and installation support. (paragraph 1)
USAFEC is a direct reporting unit assigned to AMC (see Figure A2.1 for organizational structure). (paragraph 2)
USAFEC/CC exercises administrative control (ADCON) of assigned forces to include directive authority to organize, train, and equip. (paragraph 2)
USAFEC/CC exercises General Court-Martial Convening Authority (GCMCA) over assigned and attached personnel in accordance with Department of Air Force Instruction (DAFI) 51-201, Administration of Military Justice. (paragraph 2)
Provides Joint Base command oversight for AMC-led Joint Bases McGuire-DixLakehurst and Charleston. (paragraph 3)
