The CRAF program is a national plan, based on the Defense Production Act of 1950 and Executive Order 12656, to utilize airlift resources of US air carriers to support Department of Defense (DOD) airlift requirements in a national security situation.
Along with the International and Domestic CRAF Airlift Services contract, Public Law 85-804 and Executive Order 10789, as amended, these documents constitute the Air Mobility Command (AMC) guidance for the use of CRAF resources.
The reporting requirements within this instruction are exempt from RCS controls per AFI 33-324.
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
