It covers AFMS roles in international and host nation healthcare resources, GHE planning and execution, and the mission, structure, and deployment of UTC FFHSR. It also addresses DIMO, education and training, information management, and integration with government and foreign or international organizations.
Applies to: This publication applies to all Air Force military and civilian personnel, including Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) and Air National Guard (ANG) units and members supporting expeditionary ground medical (non-Special Operations Forces [SOF]) operations.
Ensure that all records created as a result of the processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of IAW the Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS).
Air Combat Command (ACC) is the Manpower and Equipment Force Packaging (MEFPAK) Responsible Agency (MRA) for expeditionary ground medical IHS packages.
IHS SOF support is outside the scope of this AFTTP.
