AFTTP 3-42.77 provides the tactics, techniques, and procedures for Ground Surgical Teams (GSTs) tasked to operate independently of the Expeditionary Medical Support (EMEDS) construct.
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
Key changes include refinement of the GST’s scope of care and clarification of each team member’s primary role and recommended cross-functional support functions.
