The Air Force Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (AFTTP) 3-42 series of publications is the primary reference for medical combat support capability.
Special operations are military operations conducted by specially trained, equipped, and organized Department of Defense forces against strategic or tactical targets in pursuit of national military, political, economic, or psychological objectives.
AFSOC medical teams and designated line units support SOF by providing both mission operations support as well as SOF base operations support.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule located at https://www.my.af.mil/afrims/afrims/afrims/rims.cfm.
