It also addresses planning, threat information, collaboration, and the use of AFOSI capabilities in hostile, uncertain, permissive, and home-station environments.
Applies to: This AFTTP applies to Regular Air Force, the United States Space Force, Air Force Reserve, the Air National Guard, and civilian employees of the DAF.
AFOSI conducts investigations, operations, and counterintelligence (CI) collection activities to find, fix, track, and neutralize adversary threats to enable Department of the Air Force (DAF) operations.
FP includes preventive measures taken to mitigate hostile actions against personnel, resources, facilities, and critical information.
CISFP provides commanders situational awareness, drives FP condition changes, and forewarns of possible attacks.
Successful CTO requires deliberate collaboration, coordination, and deconfliction between AFOSI personnel and entities of various US and foreign partner agencies.
AFOSI units should develop CISFP plans focused on providing the commander with the intelligence required to create desired effects and achieve operational objectives.
