The publication addresses risk management, safety review goals, waivers, authority, and safety responsibilities. It requires compliance, establishes review procedures, and addresses test package documentation and risk assessment effects.
Applies to: It applies to all AEDC personnel, including AEDC personnel operating at geographically separated units (GSUs), except as amended by Memoranda of Agreement with the 96TW and 704TG.
Organizations within AFTC will supplement this instruction to provide a detailed local test safety review process. (paragraph 1-3)
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the Publication OPR for non-tiered compliance items. (paragraph 3)
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of IAW Air Force Records Disposition Schedule (RDS) located in the Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS). (paragraph 3)
