AFTACI10-601 establishes AFTAC’s official requirements development and approval process and describes the roles of AFTAC elements. It covers capability planning, resourcing, requirements, materiel and non-materiel solutions, and a repeatable process for developing operational capabilities.
Applies to: It applies to all personnel assigned to AFTAC, AFTAC detachments, and individual mobilization augmentees.
The Enterprise CDP shall be driven by validated, prioritized, and resourced requirements. (paragraph 2)
A capability required to meet organizational roles, functions, and missions in current or future operations. (paragraph 2)
Correction of a deficiency or incorporation of new technology that results in development, acquisition, procurement, or fielding of a new item (including ships, tanks, self-propelled weapons, aircraft, space vehicles and related software and data, spares, repair parts, and support equipment, but excluding real property, installations, and utilities). (paragraph 2)
Changes to doctrine, organization, training, (previously fielded) materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities, or policy implemented to satisfy one or more capability requirements (or needs) and reduce or eliminate one or more gaps, without the need to develop or purchase new materiel capability solutions. (paragraph 2)
Approve the CGA, Requirements and Prioritization Matrix, and the IL/LPL Plan. (paragraph 2)
