AFSCC14-401 covers the Airborne Cryptologic Skills Program, proficiency training, training standards, working groups, waivers, and resource requests. It requires designated groups to submit proposed proficiency standards for approval and establishes responsibilities for managing, reviewing, and distributing training standards.
Applies to: This publication applies to Regular Component, Air Force Reserve (AFR), Air National Guard (ANG), and Department of the Air Force (DAF) Civilians.
Each group will submit their proposed proficiency standards for each training line item to the Air Force Service Cryptologic Component (AFSCC) Cryptologic Skills Program Manager (CSPM) for approval.
Once approved, the AFSCC/CSPM will publish and disseminate the CTM to each group CSPM.
AFSCC/CC delegates 1A8 Airborne Cryptologic Skills Program (CSP) management and waiver authority to the Air Force Cryptologic Office Director.
Verbal authorizations may be granted for extenuating circumstance, i.e., short-notice deployment. Waiver documentation will continue to be routed for tracking purposes.
