The 413th Flight Test Group Command and Control provides a single command and control structure, administrative support, and training oversight of the assigned Air Force Reserve personnel over six geographically separated units and three local units. (paragraph 1)

Conducts functional check flights and acceptance check flights in the B-1, B52, E-3, KC-46 and KC-135 aircraft. (paragraph 4)
Responsible for all aspects of tanker test and tanker support at the Air Force Flight Test Center and Test Operations Combined Test Force in support of Development Test & Evaluation requirements. (paragraph 4)
