The publication establishes a uniform system for identifying, training, and placing augmentee personnel to meet installation-level augmentation needs. It addresses wartime and exercise plans, exemptions, requirement approvals, tasking allocations, and augmentee training.
Applies to: It applies to military members assigned to Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB).
Units will support augmentation requests/requirements as outlined in wartime scenario and/or exercise plans. (paragraph 1)
Augmentation Program Coordinators (APC) will fill personnel requirements from internal resources (within reason) before seeking augmentation support through the Augmentation Program. (paragraph 1)
Implementation of more than a single plan at one time may require prioritization of augmentation requirements for fill action. (paragraph 1)
Some plans may be implemented simultaneously; therefore, avoid multi-tasking individuals for augmentation requirements. (paragraph 1)
The ARB will meet annually, or as needed, to review requirements, approve any new requirements and/or exemptions, allocate/reallocate requirements to fill augmentation requests, and resolve any issues requiring attention. (paragraph 2)
