It describes PACAF’s role in organizing, training, and equipping forces and in conducting air, space, and cyberspace operations. It assigns command and operational duties to the Commander, PACAF, and states that compliance is mandatory.
PACAF provides the combatant commander rapidly deployable, capabilities-focused expeditionary air, space, and cyberspace forces to conduct the full range of military operations. (paragraph 1)
PACAF also enhances transpacific security, promotes regional stability, and advances U.S. interests in the Indo-Pacific region. (paragraph 1)
Is responsible to the Chief of Staff of the Air Force (CSAF) for administration, organizing, training, and equipping of assigned forces. (paragraph 2)
Commands designated USAF forces assigned/attached to USINDOPACOM. (paragraph 2)
By direction of Commander, USINDOPACOM, exercises operational control (OPCON) over assigned and attached forces. (paragraph 2)
