It defines AFPAA’s combat camera, audiovisual production, public affairs, symbols and marks, and visual information functions. It requires the agency to support Air Force and Space Force leadership, manage public affairs capabilities, and coordinate with other agencies.
The agency prepares all assigned active forces for the Department of the Air Force, joint, or combined operations in the roles of force support and sustainment, power projection, and military operations other than war. (paragraph 1)
As the Regular Air Force (RegAF) Department of the Air Force Combat Camera (COMCAM) force provider, AFPAA provides aerial and ground COMCAM capability to document operations and support activities to supported Air Force, Space Force and joint commanders. (paragraph 1)
AFPAA may coordinate directly with other agencies to avoid duplication of effort, increase mission effectiveness, and promote collaboration and mutual support of public affairs activities. (paragraph 5)
