Applies to: This mission directive applies to AFMC Regular Air Force, AFMC civilian employees, assigned Air Force reservists and those with a contractual obligation to abide by the terms of its issuance.
Develop, test, and evaluate air, space, and cyberspace systems to deliver war-winning capabilities. (paragraph 1)
The AFTC Commander is responsible to the Commander, AFMC. (paragraph 2)
Provides a national aerospace ground test complex to conduct preflight tests, engineering analyses, and technical evaluations for research, system development, and operational programs of the Air Force and Department of Defense, other government agencies, industry, and allied nations. (paragraph 3)
Plans, conducts, analyzes, and reports on DT&E of offensive and defensive cyber capabilities as well as Cybersecurity DT&E over a diverse set of AF, DoD, and other mission partner weapon systems, subsystems, hardware and software programs, and business enterprise applications. (paragraph 3)
Supports the Multi-Domain Test Force by providing test environments that aim to bridge air, land, maritime, cyberspace, space, and electromagnetic spectrum domains and use these environments to support joint, all-domain test and evaluation. (paragraph 3)
