AFIMSC delivers globally integrated and threat-informed combat support and shapes the foundation of America’s Air, Space and Cyberspace power. (paragraph 1)
AFIMSC, through its headquarters staff, detachments, and primary subordinate units (PSU), serves as the single intermediate-level headquarters, providing installation and mission support (I&MS) capabilities to eight major commands, two direct reporting units, the USSF, and all Air Force and Space Force installations. (paragraph 1)
AFIMSC effectively and efficiently manages and oversees the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution processes and deliverables for I&MS. (paragraph 1)
AFIMSC provides I&MS for administration, base communications, chaplain, contracting, financial management programs, installation engineering services, logistics readiness, public affairs, security forces, and services. (paragraph 1)
Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
