AFMCI21-100V1 covers depot maintenance management, safety, housekeeping, security, training, technical orders, modifications, and readiness. It requires current and verified technical data for depot maintenance and establishes requirements for supplements, contractor obligations, records, and waivers.
Applies to: This publication applies to all AFMC Regular Air Force.
Only current and verified technical data, as authorized by Technical Order (TO) 00-51, Air Force Technical Order System, will be used for depot maintenance. (paragraph 2)
All contractor requirements in this instruction must be included in a contract/grant/agreement to be enforceable. (paragraph 2)
Headquarters (HQ) AFMC and Centers will develop supplements to implement the requirements of this instruction at their level and provide them to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) of this instruction for review and approval before publishing. (paragraph 2)
Ensure that all records created because of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed IAW Air Force Records Disposition Schedule (RDS), which is in the Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS). (paragraph 2)
The waiver approval authority for requirements throughout this instruction is the publication Approving Official. (paragraph 2)
