Applies to: (MOODYAFB) This supplement applies to anyone involved with explosives operations on Moody AFB and to contractor-owned explosives or ammunition being used on Moody AFB.
Step one of the process involves application of appropriate hazard identification techniques in order to identify hazards associated with the operation or activity.
Effective mitigation measures reduce one of the three components (probability, severity or exposure) of risk. (paragraph 3)
All explosives operations must be conducted in accordance with written instructions. (paragraph 6)
All units that store explosives or transport explosives in the 23 WG or on Moody AFB will have a unit commander approved operating instruction (OI) in accordance with AFMAN 91-201, Paragraph 7.2.1. (paragraph 6)
Locally written instructions are not required for EOD emergency operations in connection with approved render safe procedures. (paragraph 6)
