It covers aerospace physiology training, altitude chamber exposure, student-to-instructor ratios, instructor currency and qualification, and training documentation. It also addresses accepted refresher training, program certification language requirements, waivers, supplements, and records disposition.
Applies to: This supplement applies to all Air Combat Command (ACC) aircrew and parachutists participating in aerospace physiology initial and refresher training in accordance with (IAW) AFMAN 11-403 and to those Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Command members trained at an ACC Aerospace Physiology Training Unit (APTU).
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the Publication OPR for non-tiered compliance items.
Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained IAW AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force records information management system records disposition schedule.
