Applies to: This AFMAN applies to all F-22A units in the Regular Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve (AFR).
RAP defines the minimum training required to maintain the assigned training status. (paragraph 3)
The RAP training cycle is 12 months, aligned with the fiscal year and executed as outlined in the RTM (Exception: MAJCOMs may set their own training cycles.). (paragraph 3)
An effective RAP training sortie requires accomplishing a complete primary, secondary, or basic skills mission. (paragraph 3)
A maximum of three RAP training sorties will be logged per 24-hour period under these rules. (Exception: This limit does not apply to combat/contingency operations). (paragraph 3)
SQ/CCs may select pilots for 2 FLUG training based on proficiency and experience, then certify as 2 FL on the Letter of Xs following completion of upgrade. (paragraph 3)
