Applies to: This publication applies to all civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, the Air Force Reserve, and the Air National Guard.
FEs ensure that at least one precision approach (PAR/ILS) is flown and annotated to complete the flight evaluation. (paragraph 4)
The EPE should be conducted in the highest fidelity training device available, and via table-top verbal evaluation if necessary. (paragraph 9)
If the examinee receives an unqualified area grade in any of the areas identified as “critical” by this volume, the overall qualification level must be a "Q3." (paragraph 2)
FEs document weapons employment results in the Mission Description Section of the AF Form 8, Certificate of Aircrew Qualification, for MSN evaluations. (paragraph 2)
Air-to-surface results should be recorded as Hit or Miss for each air-to-surface record delivery. (paragraph 2)
