AFMAN11-2F-15V1 covers mission design, training programs, mission recording, in-flight supervision, Ready Aircrew Program management, and pilot and WSO utilization. It establishes initial qualification, mission qualification, and continuation training requirements, including currencies, recurrency, and requalification programs.
Applies to: This Air Force Manual (AFMAN) applies to all F-15C/E/EX units in the Regular Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve (AFR).
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the requestor’s commander for non-tiered compliance items.
Major changes include: combining all models of the F-15 into one volume 1 post Operational Flight Program (OFP) 9.2, established training minimums from the previous AFMAN 11-2F-15 V1s, experience criteria, standardized terminology, mission recording operations, numerous safety related inputs, multiple updated/streamlined waiver changes and deletions per headquarters Air Force review, and significant administrative changes to baseline procedures across all fighters.
