It covers airfield movement areas, runway safety, controlled movement areas, aircraft surface operations, transponders, and taxi and towing clearance. It also addresses aircraft marshallers and operators, waivers, unit supplements, and records disposition.
Applies to: It applies to all AETC flying training units.
With the exception of the associate instructor pilot program, this supplement does not apply to Air Force Reserve Command or Air National Guard units.
Unit supplements will not be less restrictive than the basic AFMAN or this supplement.
Unless otherwise specified, 19 AF/DO is the waiver authority for this supplement.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with AFMAN 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of in accordance with Air Force Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
