AFMAN11-212 covers forecasting requirements, allocation priorities, training and combat munitions, and reporting processes. It adds procedures for generating training munitions requirements and clarifies munitions prioritization and expenditure reports.
Applies to: It applies to all Air Force organizations, activities, or units that authorize, allocate, expend, or manage aircrew munitions including Regular Air Force (RegAF), Air National Guard (ANG), Air Force Reserve (AFR), and contracted activities.
Supplementary guidance (including supplements and separate publications) cannot contradict or be less restrictive than the parent publication, but may be more restrictive.
Subordinate units have 90 calendar days from the effective date of this publication to rewrite, or certify as current, supplements to this publication.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the requestor’s commander for non-tiered compliance items.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS).
