The publication addresses international, foreign, and national airspace operations, waivers, violations, IFR procedures, departure procedures, weather categories, volcanic ash, runway separation, and aviation risk management. It requires compliance with Attachments 1 and 5 and identifies other attachments as informational and educational.
Applies to: This publication is applicable to PACAF assigned or associated units, including civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, the Air Force Reserve, and the Air National Guard.
Compliance with Attachment 1 and Attachment 5 is mandatory.
Compliance with Attachment 2 through Attachment 4 and Attachment 6 through Attachment 8 in this publication is not mandatory and these attachments exist for information and educational use.
When rules, restrictions, and provisions indicated in this supplement are less restrictive than applicable aircraft flight, training, and evaluation directives, the more restrictive directives apply.
