The publication defines the AFGSC Command Center’s command and control, situational monitoring, and functional areas. It also sets annual awards, eligibility, nomination package, and nominee qualification requirements.
Applies to: This guidance applies to AFGSC individuals at all levels, including Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard (ANG) personnel when performing duties in an AFGSC Installation Command Post or the Air Force Global Strike Command Center.
Compliance with this memorandum is mandatory.
At a minimum, AFGSC Command Center will consist of the following functional areas: Operations, Reports, Training, and Systems.
All Annual Award packages will be sent directly to the AFGSC 1C3 Policy and Procedures Org box (AFGSC.A3CP.C2.PP@us.af.mil) each year no later than 20 October if the award period is a fiscal year (FY) calendar schedule or no later than 15 December if the award period is on a calendar year (CY).
Individual nomination packages must also include the individual’s Single Unit Retrieval Format (SURF) and current fitness report.
Individual nominees must have maintained qualification during the inclusive dates (except for deployments, temporary duty (TDY)s, and/or leave).
