The publication addresses ACC CCIR approval, transmission, monitoring, checklists, training, timing, releasable information, and classification. It identifies authorized transmitters and requires reporting processes, documented training, and appropriate report marking.
Applies to: This guidance is applicable to Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard units/members assigned to/supporting ACC.
Real-world ACC CCIRs take priority over exercise events.
Only C2 Operations Specialists (1C3 AFS personnel) and certified personnel assigned to a Wing/Installation C2 Operations node (86P, 13N, and GS assigned to a Command Post, A33, etc.) are authorized to transmit ACC CCIRs.
Continuously (24/7) monitor the designated ACC synchronous secure chatroom and designated asynchronous secure systems for pertinent information and ACC CCIRs.
Electronic checklists are authorized. However, a printed copy must be kept with the Reports checklists.
Provide initial (within 30 days of assignment) and semi-annual training to Commanders and staff (Wing/Group/Squadron Commanders, Chiefs of Staff, A-Staff Directors, Special Staff Chiefs) and First Sergeants on ACC CCIR processes and requirements.
