The publication addresses releasing classified, sensitive, privacy, health, personnel, security clearance, industry, and contract information. It defines organizational roles, establishes procedures for congressional inquiries and visits, and requires records, routing, supplementation, and waiver processes.
Applies to: It applies to individuals at all levels who prepare, manage, review, certify, approve, disseminate and/or use official Air Force publications and forms, including Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard (ANG) units, except where noted otherwise.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS).
Submit recommendations to change guidance in this publication as required.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the Publication OPR for non-tiered compliance items.
