It covers Augmenting Inspector scheduling, Continual Evaluation requirements, and deficiency lifecycle roles for AMC/Inspector General, oversight authorities, and wings. It also establishes waiver procedures, records requirements, and guidance for the Commander’s Inspection Program and Unit Effectiveness Inspection.
Applies to: This publication applies to AMC and AMCgained Air National Guard (ANG) units upon mobilization.
Major changes include: Augmenting Inspector (AI) scheduling, Continual Evaluation (CE) requirements, and deficiency lifecycle roles and responsibilities for AMC/Inspector General (IG), Pertinent Oversight Authorities (POA), and wings, describing deficiency workflow for Higher Headquarters (HHQ) and wings in order to improve deficiency resolution.
The authorities to waive wing/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a Tier number (“T-0”, “T-1”, “T-2”, or “T-3”) following the compliance statement.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier wavier approval authority.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of IAW Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS).
