The publication establishes a risk reporting framework for cross-functional teams and introduces the Mission Sustainment Risk Report for hazard and control reporting. It requires records created through prescribed processes to be maintained and disposed of under Air Force records procedures.
Applies to: This supplement applies to all AETC active duty units and AETC-gained units.
Recommended team composition is similar to the original AFI, but this instruction requires direct involvement from operational staff to ensure that mission-related hazards are accounted for and proactively addressed.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained IAW AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program and disposed of IAW the Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
The authorities to waive wing/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a Tier (“T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3”) number following the compliance statement.
