Applies to: It applies to all Regular Air Force uniformed members and civilian employees who diagnose and/or treat cancer, or prepare, manage, or oversee cancer registry operations.

Accordingly, Air Force health care providers are responsible for reporting a cancer diagnosis.
Timely, accurate and comprehensive reporting of cancer case information to appropriate sources and into a centralized database with the intent of decreasing morbidity and mortality of patients with cancer.
Ensures all new cancer cases, including eligible beneficiaries who are diagnosed and/or treated in civilian facilities, are reported.
Monitors activity and performance of Air Force MTFs to ensure compliance with case finding, reporting completeness, data quality and follow-up standards.
