AFI40-701_DYESSAFBSUP establishes Dyess AFB policies and procedures for identifying family members with special needs and determining medical and educational service availability. It also outlines travel-clearance procedures for PCS assignments to OCONUS or CONUS locations.
Applies to: This publication applies to all active duty military and civilian personnel and their family members entitled to receive medical care in military treatment facilities under the 7th Bomb Wing.
The purpose of this supplement is to establish policy and procedures unique for Dyess AFB. (paragraph 41-210)
Family members of reserve component members who are on active duty for more than 30 days may be eligible for supportive services upon request. (paragraph 41-210)
ANG and AFRC personnel agencies are responsible for screening all Air Reserve Component (ARC) members with accompanied assignments and referring those with special needs family members to the nearest medical treatment facility (MTF) to complete the services availability determination prior to travel. (paragraph 41-210)
