Applies to: This instruction applies to all military and civilian personnel and their family members entitled to receive medical care in military treatment facilities as specified in AFI 41-210, TRICARE Operations and Patient Administration.
Family members of Reserve Component members who are on Active Duty for more than 30 days may be eligible for supportive services upon request. (paragraph 41-210)
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of in accordance with Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS). Requests for waivers must be submitted to the OPR listed above for consideration and approval. (paragraph 41-210)
ANG and AFRC personnel agencies are responsible for screening all Air Reserve Component (ARC) members with accompanied assignments and referring those with special needs family members to the nearest MTF to complete the services availability determination prior to travel. (paragraph 41-210)
