The instruction implements AFPD 36-26 and addresses mission competencies, learning continuums, readiness training, instructor qualifications, and master training plans. Major changes include the Comprehensive Training Catalog, a Readiness Training Center periodic course review, and a redefined master training plan.
Applies to: This instruction applies to all Air Combat Command (ACC) Defenders with the exception of ACC staff members, Naval Air Station Sigonella, Cooperative Security Location Curacao, and Air Task Force.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately to the requestor’s commander for non-tiered compliance items.
Send a copy of all approved waivers to AF/A4S within 30 calendar days of approval.
Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of IAW the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
Major changes include the creation of the Comprehensive Training Catalog, updated roles and responsibilities, corrected flow of the instruction, added the Readiness Training Center periodic course review, eliminated the annual duty position evaluation, and redefined the master training plan.
