Applies to: This publication applies to all civilian employees, and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve (AFR) and Air National Guard (ANG).
If non-local travel involves stopping at a base owned by a different MAJCOM, MAJCOM/PA of requesting MAJCOM will inform owning MAJCOM/CC. (paragraph 7)
MAJCOM and/or base requests must be submitted to U.S. Transportation Command no later than 60 days prior to the event, or 30 days if request includes contact information for a unit willing to volunteer to support, including owning wing support. (paragraph 9)
Commanders will not commit Department of the Air Force transportation prior to obtaining approval from proper authorities. (paragraph 9)
SAF/PAY may delegate to the MAJCOM/PA but not lower. (paragraph 9)
Patients are not to be photographed or interviewed without a signed authorization. (paragraph 7)
