Applies to: This supplement applies to all personnel that procure, sell, serve, or consume alcoholic beverages on USAFA.
Alcohol may only be consumed, when approved, in government facilities at commander-approved times and locations, ensuring mission and unit readiness are not negatively affected. (paragraph 1)
Sale of alcohol for off-premise consumption is authorized at the BX and Shoppette only. (paragraph 6)
Alcoholic consumption within a squadron or unit may be considered for approval on a limited basis for Airmen and their guests during the following enumerated functions: Hail/Farewell recognition, promotion and retirement celebrations, fini-flight celebrations, squadron or unit heritage anniversary celebrations, family day celebrations, picnics and other functions/events upon request. (paragraph 7)
Event approval authority is delegated to ME/Group Commanders. (paragraph 7)
Individuals must present an identification card prior to being served alcohol. (paragraph 34-219)
