It sets age limits, training requirements, incident reporting provisions, and controls for alcoholic beverage resale facilities. It also establishes approval, request, designated-driver, and event-service requirements for personal and sponsored functions.
Applies to: This supplement applies to anyone desiring to serve alcohol beverages at personal functions at 27th Special Operations Force Support Squadron (SOFSS) or Cannon Air Force Base (CAFB) facilities not normally authorized alcohol sales or distribution.
Persons must be 21 years of age to purchase or possess alcoholic beverages on CAFB.
Consistent with New Mexico Liquor Control Act, an adult may not provide alcoholic beverages to individuals who have not attained the age of 21 years.
Employees of the 27 SOFSS who dispense alcohol are required to receive Dram Shop training prior to performing any duty that includes dispensing alcohol.
Dram Shop training will be updated annually and documented in the employee's training records.
Volunteers serving alcohol at Force Support events or at Squadron functions must complete Bystander Intervention training prior to the event.
