AFI32-9002 addresses real property inventories, installation planning, legislative jurisdiction, annexations, and property maintenance. It requires annual reviews, accurate inventories, maintenance through final disposition, and prohibits using real property to promote political causes, issues, or candidates.
Applies to: This instruction applies to all civilian employees and uniformed members of the regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard.
Review real property holdings annually to identify unutilized, underutilized, or excess properties.
A complete real property inventory consists of all sites, including all lands and facilities, for which the Air Force has real property accountability, regardless of the organization using or funding the facility or land.
Ensure real property is not used to promote political causes, issues or candidates.
Members will maintain all property within the inventory (to include caretaker responsibilities) until final disposition of that property.
