The member completes DD Form 1746, Application for Assignment to Housing, and provides PCS orders. (paragraph 4-03)

How is bedroom entitlement determined for five-bedroom housing?

If available in grade category, base five-bedroom entitlement on number of dependents. (paragraph 2)

Are dependent and family member different terms?

The terms dependent and family member are synonymous. See Attachment 1 for dependent, fully defined. (paragraph 1)

How many bedrooms are assigned to a member or a member with a spouse?

Assign one bedroom to member or member with spouse. Dependent family members married to each other (dependent parents of member or member’s spouse) are entitled to one bedroom. (paragraph 2)

Can a child share a bedroom with parents?

No child may share a bedroom with parents. (paragraph 4)
