The publication addresses facility sustainment, inspections, hazard analysis, studies, emergency work, preventive maintenance, and work task management. It requires nuclear certification impact assessments, coordination, tracking, and closeout for specified work and facilities.
Applies to: This guidance applies to AFGSC units at all levels, including Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard (ANG) personnel when performing duties on nuclear certified facilities.
CEO will accomplish the emergency work task first, then submit an NCIS to assess for any impacts on the nuclear certification status of the facility due to the emergency work.
The NCIS will document the modification/work accomplished to ensure that it does not modify an EFS and its sub-systems.
PM will be completed no more than 30 days after the planned start date for nuclear certified facilities without deferring PM tasks on the facilities Essential Facility Systems (EFS).
