Applies to: This supplement is applicable to all persons owning or operating motor vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles or skateboards on Joint Base Charleston (JB CHS), including the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard (ANG).
International driver’s permits are not authorized for driving on JB CHS. (paragraph 2-1)
Personnel who knowingly furnish false or misleading information regarding the vehicle credentials are subject to driving revocation, base debarment and arrests by civil authorities. (paragraph 2-1)
The driving privileges of any individual operating a vehicle on the installation may be suspended or revoked due to point accumulation or driver behavior. (paragraph 31-1)
The suspension will remain effective for the entire period of the suspension unless the installation commander or his/her designee approves an appeal. (paragraph 31-1)
The percentage standard in South Carolina for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) is .08% or more for individuals 21 years of age and older. (paragraph 2-4)
