It covers force presentation, pre-positioned war reserve capabilities and stocks, requirements determination, planning, budgeting, and readiness reporting. It establishes procedures for WRM management and requires records to be maintained and disposed of through prescribed systems.
Applies to: This instruction applies to Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC), applicable subordinate units and supporting agencies.
WRM is required to support our national strategy and provide the capability to fight multiple scenarios using Starter and Swing stocks.
Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained IAW Air Force Instruction AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Information Management System Records Disposition Schedule.
The authorities to waive wing/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a tier (“T-2”) number following the compliance statement.
