Who is responsible for uniform clothing procedures for enlisted ANG members?

By authority of the Chief, National Guard Bureau (NGB), this publication establishes uniform clothing procedures as applicable to all enlisted ANG members through the United States Property and Fiscal Officers (USPFOs), the Assistant USPFOs for Property, unit commanders and Individual Equipment Elements (IEE), who are responsible for the sustainment of uniform clothing for ANG enlisted members per AFI 36-3014, Clothing Allowance for Air Force Personnel and Allowance Standard 016, Organization Clothing.

Can Military Personnel appropriations be used to purchase clothing bag items for commissioned officers?

Note: (Added) The use of Military Personnel (MILPERS) appropriations is not authorized for the purchase of Clothing Bag Items for Commissioned Officers.

Who funds uniform requirements above federal authorizations?

Any uniform requirements above the Federal authorizations IAW AFI 36-3014 are State requirements and must be funded by the applicable State or Territory.

How often must enlisted Airmen receive clothing inspections or clothing record reviews?

Conducts uniform clothing showdown inspections when deemed necessary or biennial clothing record review for all enlisted Airmen.

Maintain and have in their possession, the basis of issue quantities of serviceable uniforms authorized in AFI 36-3014 Attachment 3 provided by BMTS.
