Applies to: This instruction applies to all AFMC units possessing or handling NWRM and all AFMC personnel responsible for storing, maintaining, handling, shipping, receiving, loading, packaging or accounting for NWRM.
Compliance with attachments in this publication is mandatory.
Submit requests for waivers, using Department of Air Force (DAF) Form 679, Department of the Air Force Publication Compliance Item Waiver Request/Approval, through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the Publication OPR for non-tiered compliance items.
All requests for waiver must be approved by the publication OPR prior to implementation.
Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of IAW the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS).
