Wing/Unit Commanders will ensure that arms control POCs have at least one year of retainability at the time of appointment.

When must replacement arms control points of contact be appointed?

Wing/Unit Commanders must appoint replacement arms control POCs at least 30 days before a current appointee is scheduled to PCS or depart the program.

What training time must arms control points of contact receive?

Arms control POCs must be allowed an appropriate amount of time on a recurring basis to work with the Regional TCO in order to maintain arms control implementation and compliance proficiency.
