It expands AFI 16-201 guidance by describing USAFA foreign disclosure policies and processes. It addresses foreign nationals, classified and controlled unclassified information, waiver requests, records, and unauthorized access reporting.
Applies to: This publication applies to USAFA Mission Elements and all USAFA personnel.
Although USAFA is an academic institution, Foreign Disclosure policy still applies.
USAFA must remain vigilant and follow the proper protocol to ensure compliance with National, Department of Defense and Air Force Foreign Disclosure policy.
Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS).
