Ensure SERE Specialists are integrated into mission planning to enhance personnel survivability and mitigate mission risk.
All Second Priority personnel may attend B-Level training in lieu of the current C-Level S-V80-A training.
Units will submit their weapon specific lesson plans to PACAF/A3TV SERE for approval triennially.
The bladders/floatation cells on life-saving equipment (i.e. Life Preserver Units (LPU) and life rafts) should meet Technical Order (T.O.) specifications at all times, dummy CO2 bottles are acceptable in lieu of live bottles. Maintain a training equipment list and conduct an annual inventory for accountability (T-3).
Wing commanders or delegates may waive arctic survival attendance for up to 12 months after arrival on station.
