The publication establishes program management, training, authorized-driver documentation, spot checks, and airfield safety reporting requirements. It also addresses records and forms for personnel who transfer, separate, retire, or lose driving documentation.
Applies to: It applies to all military and civilian personnel conducting ground vehicular operations on the airfield at Mountain Home Air Force Base (AFB).
The Wing ADPM will provide training to temporarily assigned personnel, inspection and survey teams, and non-base assigned contractors based on the type, location, time and duration of work. (paragraph 13-213)
Conduct one spot check twice per week and document it on the Airfield Driving Spot Check Log provided via the Wing ADPM (Reference Attachment 12, Sample Airfield Driving Spot Check Log).
Quarterly validate the number of personnel authorized to drive on the airfield to include justification for individuals required to enter or cross the CMA.
All drivers on the airfield are responsible for monitoring airfield safety, detecting unauthorized personnel/vehicles and immediately reporting airfield violations to Airfield Management and/or the Emergency Control Center (ECC).
Personnel who Permanent Change of Station (PCS), separate, or retire must turn in their AF Form 483 to their Unit ADPM. (paragraph 13-213)
