The JAI will be performed in preparation for each cargo airdrop by representatives of each of the Services participating in the airdrop mission. (paragraph 2–1)
Prior to airdrop, loads or containers rigged for airdrop will be inspected three times separately. (paragraph 2–2)
An airdrop load will not be accepted unless it is rigged in accordance with specific FMs/TOs distributed by USAQMC&S, ADFSD, or the Joint Special Operations Command. (paragraph 2–2)
Do not accept an airdrop load unless it has been rigged by a qualified rigger or under the supervision of a qualified rigger. (paragraph 2–2)
Ensure a MO is present on the DZ during all airborne operations. (paragraph 385–40)
